Read state & unread badges
Read state is tracked per person and drives unread and @mention badges on rooms, tasks, and DMs. Opening a conversation marks that person's messages read through the point they open, so the badges reflect what still needs attention.
Browser push notifications
Web Push delivers notifications for mentions, approvals, failed runs, and budget limits when the tab is backgrounded. Requires server VAPID configuration and the user granting notification permission.
